I read 2 papers related to evaluation of museums today. One of them shows examples of how RFID can be used to enhance visitors'museum experience. In my opinion, this paper will help me to justify some aspects that I perceived while I was doing the evaluation of Brighton Fishing Museum system such as: bookmarking, visitors'own social and educational expectations, learning experience, how long the interaction on the screen should take, metaphors, how users handle with RFID (cards).
The other one explains some requirements for a children multimedia museum environment. There is a comentary about the importance of use metaphors in this type of systems since children might learning more playing a role as explorers.
This week am going to attend classes everyday. I hope I could read more and start to write the next paper about the evaluation of Brighton Fishing Museum system .
