I just finished an assignment about Qualitative Research and HCI. One of the books that I really recommend is:
CRESWELL, J. W. (2009) Research Design: Qualitative, Quantitative, and Mixed Methods Approaches, California, Sage Publications.
Very easy to read and brings a full description how to conduct mixed methods approach, as well as qualitative and quantitative methods.
